Lets clear all your questions here. Most people do cdac for placement ofcourse cdac is not only a brand for its placements it do provide quality of education. As a part of six month full time course last month is dedicated for placements.
CDAC placement process will start just immedietly after completing your cdac course end exams. CDAC calls these exams as CCEE which means Common Campus Entrance Exam. You need to clear all these exams to get eligibility for placement programme. Exam will be only in objective type. Its just like C-CAT exam pattern but, no negative marking. You can prepare for this exam from here CDAC CCEE Practice Questions
CDAC provides placements opportunities to its students through Common Campus Placement Programme(CCPP).
Common Campus Placement Programme(CCPP) is organised in five different regions: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Noida and Pune. Placements are common for all students who did their cdac course from same region.
For example, if your cdac institution is in Pune you have to attend for CCPP in Pune.
It doesn't matter from which institute you are i.e, students from all over the cdac institutions will compete in placements programme. Getting placed is totally dependent on your own abilities.
Lets go into more details about CDAC placement process. For every batch approximately 300 companies are visiting to CDAC to recruit students.
Once you eligible for CCPP, CDAC will give you a new CCPP ID card and your name will be displayed in cdac placement management system(pms) portal at which all your company calls will be tracked. Without this CCPP ID card you will be not allowed for placements.
The whole CDAC placement process is catagorised into three groups
- On Campus
- Off Campus
- Local Campus
On Campus CDAC placements
On campus placement programme is organised by Cdac Acts at which most of the well known companies will visit in on campus.
Off Campus CDAC placements
Off Campus placement programme is organised by local cdac centers.
Both on and off campus placements are common for all students. Where as, all students from different cdac training centers should attend for placements.
Depending on company's eligibility criteria each individual can be given maximum 30 chances to get placed. Even after completing 30 interview calls,if case you are not placed in any company then you will be blocked for further companies.
Local Campus CDAC placements
Once on campus and off campus placements completes you will be unblocked and now you can attend for local campus.
Local campus drives are the last chance to get placed. Mostly, this is specific to your institution. In most cases you will be asked to attend campus drive in company premises.
If you get placed in any company you will be not allowed for other companies. So, one person can get only one placement.
Mostly, on campus and off campus placement drives will complete in 20 days. After a short break local campus will starts. There is a possibility more than one company can visit on a single day. If you are shortlisted for more than one company on same day you have to attend for all interviews.
All over CDAC will provide enough opportunities to a student to get placed.

@Devika you will have quite good chances for getting placement as you dont have much gap between your education . you can go for CDAC. But, you academics also matters for placements. All the Best !

@Varsha Desai its difficult to get CDAC-ACTS pune but there is a chance for Sunbeam,which is almost equal to CDAC ACTS.

@Jatin Dhande you can get enough chances for placements. CCAT rank will not have effect for placements. But, with this C-CAT rank there are very less chances to get admission in good institutions. its better to take pre cat and can give try for Aug batch.

@Jatin Dhande: Your C-CAT rank is required only for your admission. once your get into CDAC course your end exam marks will matters. CCAT ranks have no effect in your placements

@Aditya as knowledge point of view irrespective of branch(dac or DMC or big data...) You can trust CDAC. For placements, DAC ,DMC ,DESD are good. 2 year gap may reduce your interview cals .but,you will get enough chances to prove. Now a days big data is in hipe. But as placements point of view DAC is good. Placements for Big data are good but compared to DAC very less.

Hello my rank is 280.I am staying right now near to sunbeam with all the great facility and peaceful learning atmosphere.My monthly expenses is 6k pm. I came to know staying near by cdac acts costs me atleast 10k which I can't afford.so I am planning to join sunbeam.is that fine ?

@Abhijeet Gupta yes ! It costs atleast 8 to 10k to stay near CDAC ACTS and the area also costly. Near sunbeam Pune you can complete you monthly expenses @5k if you stay in Marharshi Nagar which is walkable to Sunbeam. Faculty and placements are good in Sunbeam. You can go for sunbeam.

Is there any difference between placement of acts and sunbeam. How much difference is there in local campus of sunbeam Nd Acts. I am 16 passout .throughout 70. How much calls will I get. Anything that u want to suggest,as I am not going to take acts.

@Abhijeet Gupta : sunbeam is good in all aspects. But, one can't say that sunbeam is better than ACTS as acts is main branch of cdac. If you have any change of doing in ACTS prefer to go for ACTS. Secondary is sumbeam is the good option. Placements are common for all Students so, no worry about placements. you get same changes whether in acts or sunbeam. you may get 15 to 25 calls. I am 2015 pass out student and having 2 years gap after graduation(i did freelancing work as Web developer) also my 10th and diploma in engineering grade is above 60 % but my Degree throughout score is less than 60%. is it good choice to take admission for cdac aug 2018 batch? or this gap and score may affect to my placement after completing cdac course?

Your gap after graduation will definitely decrease s you placement opportunities. You will get less chances compared to others. And there is no guarantee that you will high packaged placement. In the end you will get job.

Sir,I am pursuing Cdac in desd at ACTS .I am fresher with 60 %trhrought in acadamics including ssc,diploma,BE,but I remained only 1 mark less to get 60%in ccee exam ..how will affect on my placement call compare to those fresher with 60%above.Thank you

@Vivan Yes, without any doubt you are eligible. The thing is maximum companies who recruits from Cdac come up with some criteria, parameters like pass out year, aggregate percentage,CCEE score etc , so it is tough for you to get calls from those companies, but there are also some companies who considers your CCEE Score and throughout aggregate so you can get calls from these companies . work hard for 6months and make sure you crack good score in CCEE final Exam.It will be very helpful for you.

@Anirudh If you want to increase your technical knowledge in a practical way and want to explore emerging courses like Big Data , Cdac is the best option. Between kp and Acts without any doubt Acts is wise option to choose.coming to placements, for enough calls you should get admission into the top institutes of Cdac.

@Sakshi Agarwal As you have a distinction in graduation it helps you lot if you get a good Score in CCEE final exams.there will be slight effect of your 12th but work hard for 6 months you can get many calls. Remember CCEE score matters alot.

@Rahul If we compare the technologies and syllabus of DAC and DMC ,DMC is far better. But coming to placements DMC holds 60% while DAC holds 90%(for good institutes). But there are many students placed in good companies who studied DMC. So, if you are interested in Mobile Computing go on and give your best in this 6 months All the best.

@Vinod As you are from CSE background you can opt for DAC because the placement stats for DITISS is far less compared to DAC. Considering your passout year you will get less chances during placements but if you were able to get very good score in the final exams you can fetch more calls during placemets.

there is one year gap in 12th and btech, 12th is 2nd division (56% MARKS) completed b.tech in ECE in 2012 , completed MBA in IT in 2014, after that a gap of more than 3 YEARS. @Kavya It is impossible to study while working because it will be too much hectic. you will not get time. Placement opportunities are centralized so if you want to get good calls try to score good marks in final end exams

After that I did my MBA ( International Business and Marketing ) 2017 passout and I have 11 months of marketing experience. I didn't have any year gap in between . My X marks is 75.4 , 12th - 69.4, BE - 63.27 , MBA-8.85/10. I really want to pursue a career in big data analytics so I am planning to join PG-DBDA. Hello! I completed BE(Comp) with aggregate 59.47% in 2017 and my final year score is 77.33%. My 10th std score is 86.55% and 12th std score is 54.83%. I have 6 months of experience in manual testing. Due to some reasons I have decided to join CDAC for DAC course in 2018 August. So, during placements will I be facing any of problems specially due to 12th std score? As a ece Stundent what is the nesesity to write remaining section....
